Registering for MechaCon VI:
All prices shown are in U.S. dollars. No currency other than U.S. Dollars will be accepted.
INCOMPLETE REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
If you are registering more than one attendee, please submit separate registration forms for ALL persons attending. Multiple membership orders WITHOUT separate registration forms for every member of your party cannot be processed. By submitting any Registration Form, you are stating that you have read all of the information provided in the registration section of www.mechacon.com and agree to the terms, rules and conditions stated therein.
(Note: No one under the age of 13 will be allowed to attend without a paid parent or legal guardian registrant accompanying him/her at all times; no one under the age of 18 will be allowed to attend without signed consent of a parent or legal guardian.)
At-Door Registration Prices:
Friday - $18 (children 9 and under - $10)
Saturday - $25 (children 9 and under - $15)
Sunday - $12 (children 9 and under - $7)
3-day Pass - $45 (children 9 and under - $25)
Pre-Registration FAQ:
01. Why pre-register?
Lots of incentives. (If you have to cancel, your membership can be transferred to someone else.) Also, we need to know how many attendees to expect in order to plan properly. Pre-registration for 2010 will open around January 1, 2010.
02. Does the student discount apply to at-door registrations?
No, the student rate is strictly a pre-registration incentive..
03. Who is eligible for the student discount?
Grades K-12 and College, with a valid student ID.
04. What if I don't include my student information with my paid registration?
If you have not included your proof of student status with your registration and you have only paid the student rate, you will be contacted and asked to fax a copy of your student status verification. If we are unable to contact you within 3 days of receiving your registration, your registration information and un-processed payment will be returned to you.
05. Notice to parents:
If you're not staying in our hotel, please don't leave your children here overnight without someone legally responsible for them. We are NOT a babysitting service. We also require a way to reach you in case of an emergency. You will be held responsible (legally and financially) for any damages incurred by your child or charge to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.
06. Notice to students and minors:
We expect you to behave yourselves so we don't have to call your parents. Your behavior is what's important, not your age. You and your parent(s)/legal guardian will be held responsible (legally and financially) for damages incurred by you to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.
07. Notice to adult attendees:
ALL attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectably. You will be held responsible (legally and financially) for damages incurred by you to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.
08. Can I register at the door?
Yes. At-door memberships will be available for $18 on Friday, $25 on Saturday and $12 on Sunday ($45 for a 3-day weekend pass). Note: student discounts and free* child admission are not available at the door.
09. Can I pay by credit card or e-check?
Credit card and e-check payments are only accepted through our Electronic Registration. Credit cards are, unfortunately, not accepted at-door.
10. Can I pay for pre-registration by money order?
Yes. However, we only accept U.S. Postal money orders. Please make it payable to Sennin Productions, LLC.
11. Can I pay for pre-registration by check?
Yes. Please make it payable to Sennin Productions, LLC. All registrations paid by check are subject to a 10-day waiting period while check clears.
Please note that there is a $25 fee for all returned checks!

13. Does the pre-registration student rate include all three days?
Yes. However, the student rate is only available to pre-registrants. Pre-registration prices quoted here are for a full 3-day attendance package.
14. Can I combine packages via up-grading?
No. Registrations are non-upgradable. Please choose the package you intend to be registered with at the time of registration. The only exception to this is that we will allow you to add a dinner seat to your registration after registering, given there are still seats available. The cost for the dinner is an extra $30 (dinner is already included the fee for GoldPass registrations).
15. If I get a SilverPass or GoldPass registration, can my child (under 9) still get a free registration?
Yes. The free "child under 9" registration applies to any adult registration. However, free registration for your child is only a BasicPass registration. This is only available with pre-registration. At-door, only children 3 and under will be admitted for free.
16. Can I get a SilverPass or GoldPass registration for my child under 9 years old for free?
No. The free "child under 9" registration applies only to BasicPass registration. Unpaid SilverPass or GoldPass registrations submitted for children 9 and under will automatically be converted to BasicPass registration. If you want a SilverPass or GoldPass registration for your child, the registration cost is the same as an adult.
17. I intend to volunteer. Do I have to pre-register?
No. Volunteers will be handled on a day-to-day basis. Registration fees are waived for volunteers on the day they are volunteering. Each volunteer will be expected to work a minimum of 4 hours per volunteer day. Volunteers working all three days of the convention will receive an exclusive MechaCon V volunteer t-shirt. If you attend MechaCon on all three days and only volunteer for one or two days, you will need to pay the at-door registration fee for day(s) not volunteering.
18. How do I volunteer?

Confirmation/Receipts:
Confirmation/Receipts will be emailed to you after your payment has cleared. If you wish to receive a hard copy confirmation/Receipt then please include an S.A.S.E (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) with your registration.
You will receive a badge with your name on it and a color-coded wristband when you report to the registration table. It is mandatory that you wear your badge and wristband all three days of the event.
Under Age 18?
Anyone under 18 must get their parent's signed permission before registering. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied throughout the event by a parent/guardian with a paid registration; this will be verified at the time badges are picked up at the Registration Booth. All attending parents or guardians must be registered attendees of MechaCon 2010.
For children under 9, please include the child's information with the accompanying adult registration. Thank you.
