Dan Coglan, a.k.a. “Samurai Dan”, and Jillian Coglan are a dynamic duo of stage performers and masters of martial mayhem that entertain audiences from one end of the country to the other. They specialize in showing the comedic side of shared Samurai training!
In addition to their captivating stage shows, this happily (mostly!) married couple teach historical and hysterical panels on the way of the warrior, along with interactive classes for con-goers to learn and experience for themselves the amazing skills of the samurai (and ninja).
Not content with mere physical attack and defense, Dan and Jillian unleash their verbal skills as well, attacking otaku funny bones with comedy panels and even uncensored (oops!) after hours offerings.
When not onstage, Dan spends his time writing (look for his novels in a bookstore near you!) and Jillian enjoys spending time with their akitas (Japanese Guard Dogs).
They will be hosting our Cosplay Contest Half-time show as well as several panels throughout the weekend.
