Registration for MechaCon 2019 is now open. Dignitary Passes are currently SOLD OUT. Other pass types are not limited and will remain available until the close of pre-registration. The Final day to pre-register for MechaCon 2019 will be June 23rd, 2019. Pre-registration will close at Midnight on June 23rd, 2019 (the night of the 22nd). At that time, no more pre-registrations will be taken and NO CHANGES may be made to existing pre-registrations.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. No currency other than U.S. Dollars will be accepted.

Pre-registration Packages:

Please note: We do not offer pre-registration for individual days. We only offer weekend pass packages for pre-registration. Individual day passes may be purchased at-door on the weekend of the convention. Pre-registering for the weekend saves money.

At-door registration will be available throughout the weekend of the convention, but pre-registration packets and prices will not be available at that time.

For those opting to register at-door instead of pre-registering, the at-door rates are as follows:

  • Weekend Pass = $60 Children 9 and under - $45
  • Friday Only Pass = $30 Children 9 and under - $20
  • Saturday Only Pass = $40 Children 9 and under - $30
  • Sunday Only Pass = $15 Children 9 and under - $10
  • Children 3 and under get in FREE.

Note: No one under the age of 13 will be allowed to attend without a paid parent or legal guardian registrant accompanying him/her at all times.

Pre-registration FAQ

Why pre-register?

Lots of incentives. Picking up a pre-registration badge will save you time rather than standing in the at-door line at the convention. Pre-registering saves you money, especially if you take advantage of our early-bird prices. Special types of badges such as Diplomat & Dignitary Access Passes are only available through pre-registration. Dignitary passes sell out fast, so if you want one, be sure to get it quickly! There are only 100 of them available.

Why does MechaCon no longer offer a student discount?

Due to our continuing growth, we are trying to streamline the registration process. Our online registration system doesn’t offer an option for discounts, or for verifying students, and mail-in registrations must all be processed by hand. Due to our growing size, processing mail-in registrations by hand is no longer practical for us. We will, however, look into options for offering student discounts in the future.

Why does MechaCon no longer offer mail-in registration?

Due to our continuing growth, we are trying to streamline the registration process. Processing such a large number of registrations by hand is very time-consuming and as we grow, it becomes more and more impractical. We are here for you if you have any questions or problems with the electronic process, though. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

Notice to parents:

If you’re not staying in our hotel, please don’t leave your children here overnight without someone legally responsible for them. We are NOT a babysitting service. We also require a way to reach you in case of an emergency. You will be held responsible (legally and financially) for any damages incurred by your child or charge to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and City Governments.

Notice to students and minors:

We expect you to behave yourselves so we don’t have to call your parents. Your behavior is what’s important, not your age. You and your parent(s)/legal guardian will be held responsible (legally and financially) for damages incurred by you to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and City Governments.

Can I register at the door?

Yes. At-door memberships will be available at the convention.

What methods of payment are accepted to pre-register online?

Our online system accepts credit cards and debit cards.

What payment methods are accepted to register at-door?

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards for at-door registration.

Can I combine packages via upgrading?

No. Registrations are non-upgradable and non-transferrable. Please choose the package you intend to be registered with at the time of registration.

I intend to volunteer. Do I have to pre-register?

No. Volunteers will be handled on a day-to-day basis. Registration fees are waived for volunteers on the day they are volunteering. Each volunteer will be expected to work a minimum of 4 hours per volunteer day. If you attend MechaCon on all three days and only volunteer for one or two days, you will need to pay the at-door registration fee for day(s) not volunteering.

How do I volunteer?

I’m a parent, and I’m not interested in this anime stuff. I just want to walk around with my child. Do I have to pay to get in?

Unfortunately, we have no way of discerning which adults are interested in anime, and which are not. It would be unfair of us to let parents in free and then charge the next adult anime fan that walks in the door. You need to have a badge to get in to our exhibits and events. Some events also have limited seating and the admission charged helps to pay for those events. It would just be really unfair to paying attendees. Parents are welcome to hang out outside the convention areas, but if your child is 13 or under, he/she must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Confirmation/Receipts:

Confirmation/Receipts will be emailed to you after your payment has cleared.

In order to pick up a pre-registration at the convention, you must present either a copy of your email confirmation OR a valid pictured ID. You will receive a badge with your name on it when you report to the registration table and receive your registration packet. It is mandatory that you wear your badge all three days of the event.

You will not receive anything in the mail. You pick up your badge and any additional items ordered at the convention when you pre-register.
