As MechaCon’s room block at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans fast approaches “filled” status, the time has come to open our overflow room blocks. We’ve listened to your feedback and are now offering two overflow hotel locations many attendees have been asking for!
Our first overflow hotel is the Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center, located at 881 Convention Center Blvd. Quite a number of attendees have expressed concern over our move to a new location because they really wanted a hotel near the Riverwalk and we’ve heard you! Mere steps away from the Riverwalk and the river front, the Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center is a perfect hotel for those who want to do some shopping while in town for MechaCon.
Our second overflow hotel puts you right in the action of New Orleans’ historic French Quarter! The Hyatt Centric French Quarter, located at 800 Iberville Street, is a perfect place for the night owl who likes to enjoy all the offerings of the French Quarter. With classic architecture, creative cuisine, and of course, the lively Bourbon Street scene, you’ll find the fun never ends during your stay in the heart of the action at Hyatt Centric French Quarter. With an entrance leading right onto Bourbon Street, it’s a perfect location for attendees who don’t want to have to go too far to get back to his/her hotel after a long night on Bourbon Street. An added bonus is the hotel has entrances leading directly into The Hard Rock Cafe Bourbon Street and Red Fish Grill without ever having to leave the hotel!
