Jonny Tsunami is a big fan of genre bending music. The Filipino native takes his Asian background and combines it with pop culture, video game music, and anime influences to create a unique sound with his music production and dance floor selections.
With over 10 years of experience, Jonny Tsunami has made a name for himself performing at Euphoria Music Festival (Austin, TX); Breakaway Music Festival, Lizard Lounge (Dallas, TX); MechaCon Anime Convention (New Orleans, LA); Backwoods Music Festival, Robotic Wednesdays (Oklahoma City), as well as many events for GameStop and Red Bull.
He has been direct support for artists such as ill.Gates & KJ Sawka, Clozee & Psymbionic, Mickey Avalon, and Stalley. He has also opened for Breathe Carolina, Grandtheft, Bleep Bloop, Stooki Sound, DJ Green Lantern, and more.
Jonny Tsunami aims to use his notoriety to jump start his music collective, Kawaii Club, where he will showcase anime and video game inspired dance music presented in an eclectic and transformative way.
