Minimum number of attendees for group registration is 10 people. If sending in more than 10 registrations, please print out more copies of this form and send in together. Children 9 and under cannot be added onto Group Registration. Free registration for children 9 and under is ONLY available with Individual Registration. Please PRINT or TYPE CLEARLY. By submitting any Registration Form, you are stating that you have read all of the information provided in the registration section of www.mechacon.com and agree to the terms, rules and conditions stated therein.

(Note: No one under the age of 13 will be allowed to attend without a paid parent or legal guardian registrant accompanying him/her at all times; no one under the age of 18 will be allowed to attend without signed consent of a parent or legal guardian.)

(Group rates are only available as BasicPass registrations. Group rates are not applicable to at-door registration, SilverPass or GoldPass registrations. Submitting Group Registration:

At least 10 people must be registering at the time of submission.

Group rates are only valid for pre-registration. No group rate will be accepted if postmarked after July 1, 2008 or during MechaCon.

Group discount cannot be combined with any other discount.

Once the payment has been sent, you cannot increase or decrease the number of people in your group.

Add up the total cost of individual registrations within your group and any t-shirt and/or dinner cost that your group members wish to purchase. Fill in all the required information. Any missing information may delay the processing of your group's registration. Everyone in the group must give a name and address for processing.

We cannot be held responsible for any errors submitted during registration, so please print clearly.

Send the total by check or U.S. Postal money order payable to: Sennin Productions, LLC. Send the total using a single check or money order. Please don’t send multiple checks or money orders.

Please note the following:

The group coordinator will receive an email stating the acceptance of the group's registration once the registration has been processed.

Registrants will receive their badges (and shirts where applicable) at the convention with a valid photo ID. Individuals registered with a group do not have to be in the company of his/her group to pick up his/her registration packet. A current, valid picture ID is necessary to pick up any badge/registration packet. Registration packages can only be picked up by the attendee a packet is registered to. No member of a group can pick up another member's registration packet.

Hotel accommodations are not included with registration. Please visit www.mechacon.com for additional registration forms, information on the event, hotel information, rules & regulations. We reserve the right to refuse any registration for any reason.

We are not responsible for any errors submitted during registration, so please print clearly.

Once you have registered, there is no refund. You cannot remove or add anyone to the group after it is sent. However, you can replace an adult with another adult before June 1, 2008. Please contact the Registration Coordinator to make changes on the registration record. You can also mail-in your changes to:

Pre-Registration FAQ:

01. How many people do I need to submit a group registration?

You must have a minimum of 10 people.


02. Does the student discount apply to group registrations?

No, the student discount only applies to individual registrations.


03. Can children 9 and under be included my group registration?

No. Children 9 and under can only registered through a paid Individual registration. Any inclusion of children 9 and under in any group registration will result in the failure of that child to be registered. If, once any children 9 and under have been removed from your group registration the group has less than 10 registrants, and if we are unable to contact you within 3 days of receiving your group pre-registration, your group registration information and un-processed payment will be returned to you.


04. Notice to group coordinator:

As the point of contact for your group, we expect you to insure that every member of your group has read the rules and regulations and conducts themselves accordingly. Any damages incurred by a member of your group to hotel and/or MechaCon property are the responsibility (legally and financially) of the offending member(s). Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges against the offending member, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events for the offending member and, quite possibly, the remaining members of your group as well. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.


05. Notice to parents:

If you're not staying in our hotel, please don't leave your children here overnight without someone legally responsible for them. We are NOT a babysitting service. We also require a way to reach you in case of an emergency. You will be held responsible (legally and financially) for any damages incurred by your child or charge to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.


06. Notice to students and minors:

We expect you to behave yourselves so we don't have to call your parents. Your behavior is what's important, not your age. You and your parent(s)/legal guardian will be held responsible (legally and financially) for damages incurred by you to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.


07. Notice to adult attendees:

ALL attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectably. You will be held responsible (legally and financially) for damages incurred by you to hotel and/or MechaCon property. Any criminal damages and/or activity will be met with criminal charges, as well as a permanent ban from ALL future Sennin Productions, LLC events. All attendees are subject to the laws and ordinances set forth by Federal, State and Lafayette Consolidated Governments.


08. Can I register my group at the door?

No. At-door registrations are not available for group registrations. Note: student discounts and free* child admission are also not available at the door.


09. Can I pay by credit card?

No. All group registrations must be submitted by mail ONLY.


10. Can I pay by money order?

Yes. However, we only accept U.S. Postal money orders. Please make it payable to Sennin Productions, LLC.


11. Can I pay by check?

Yes. Please make it payable to Sennin Productions, LLC. All registrations paid by check are subject to a 10-day waiting period while check clears.

13. Does the group rate include all three days?

Yes. However, the group rate is only available through pre-registration. Pre-registration price quoted here is for a full 3-day attendance package.


14. Can I combine packages via up-grading?

No. Registrations are non-upgradable or combinable. Please choose the package you intend to be registered with at the time of registration. The only exception to this is that we will allow you to add a dinner seat to your registration after registering, given there are still seats available. The cost for the dinner is an extra $30 (dinner is already included the fee for GoldPass registrations).


15. If I am part of a group registration, can my child (under 9) still get a free registration?

No. Children 9 and under cannot be added onto Group Registration. Free registration for children 9 and under is ONLY available with Individual Registrations.


16. I intend to volunteer. Do I have to pre-register?

No. Volunteers will be handled on a day-to-day basis. Registration fees are waived for volunteers on the day they are volunteering. Each volunteer will be expected to work a minimum of 4 hours per volunteer day. Volunteers working all three days of the convention will receive an exclusive MechaCon IV volunteer t-shirt. If you attend MechaCon on all three days and only volunteer for one or two days, you will need to pay the at-door registration fee for day(s) not volunteering.


17. How do I volunteer?

Confirmation/Receipts:

Confirmation/Receipts will be emailed to your group's coordinator after payment has cleared. If a group's coordinator wishes to receive a hard copy confirmation/Receipt then please include an S.A.S.E (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) with your registration.

Registrants will receive a badge with his/her name on it when that registrant reports to the registration table. It is mandatory that all registrants wear their badges all three days of the event.

Under Age 18?

Anyone under 18 must get their parent's permission before registering. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied throughout the event by a parent/guardian with a paid registration; this will be verified at the time badges are picked up at the Registration Booth. All attending parents or guardians must be registered attendees of MechaCon 2008.

For children under 9, please include the child's information with the accompanying adult individual registration. Thank you.
