2010 Advertising
Advertising with MechaCon
Bridging the genres of Anime and Transformers with Japanese cultural exhibits, panels and presentations, MechaCon has spent the last five years growing into an amazing anime convention experience. With a large number of our attendees choosing MechaCon as their very first convention experience, MechaCon offers advertisers a virtually un-tapped market of potential customers eager to partake in your wares and/or services.
Previously located in Louisianas Hub City, Lafayette, on the I-10 corridor between New Orleans, Louisiana and Houston, MechaCon became immensely popular and outgrew its home city in just five short years. For our sixth annual MechaCon, we are proud to declare that MechaCon has found a new home in New Orleans, Louisiana. Being a convention held in the Crescent City, MechaCon is easily accessible for fans joining us from not only south, central and north Louisiana, but east Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. With confirmed attendees joining us from across the country and even from Mexico and Canada, it is easy to see why MechaCon promises to continue to be a well-attended event from all fronts.
Our confirmed guest line-up for 2010 offers a diverse convention appearance combination, including voice actors, ADR directors and industry professionals. Guest information can be found here. Our 2010 guests are seasoned veterans in the fields of Anime, television and film work who have proven to be large fan-draws at previous Anime events.
In 2009, MechaCon saw approximately 2,500 attendees (paying and non-paying participants included) in Lafayette. We surpassed our projected goal and, now that we are located in New Orleans, we expect to exceed 4,000 5,000 attendees this year due to the overwhelming positive response from our attendees, exhibitors, and our other professional guests.
Now is your chance to have your name associated with this unique event! Placing an ad in the official MechaCon Program Book will help introduce our attendees to your store, service, business, or company. Even if you cannot attend the event, ads are a great way to show support for our local effort. Your business need not be local, although while in town many MechaCon attendees travel to various businesses represented in the program book just to see places of interest while in New Orleans. They want to shop, eat in restaurants, and do things they can only do here in New Orleans. Local fans learn about businesses new to them in their own neighborhoods, and can become loyal repeat customers. Some become mail order customers, once they are made aware of your goods or services.
