2010 Accommodations
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We have received word that some attendees have had some trouble with the Marriott claiming there was no reservation availability for certain nights in the MechaCon room block. This issue has supposedly been resolved. However, if you are met with any difficulty when making your reservation at the MechaCon room rate (ie. being told there are no double rooms available on a certain night, there are no more rooms in the MechaCon room block), please contact:

Important: If you decide to call-in your reservation at the New Orleans Marriott, please be sure to tell them that you want the "MechaCon Room Block" to receive the MechaCon room rate. If you do not mention the "MechaCon Room Block", the registration desk may not give you the MechaCon Room Rate and/or may tell you that there are no rooms available for the dates you selected.
1. MechaCon Rate Rooms are $99 per night for a room with two double-size beds or one king-sized bed. The MechaCon room rates are available for Thursday night through Sunday night.
2. The room limit is strictly up to 4 people per double double room, no exceptions. The room limit for single king rooms is 3, no exceptions, as this is fire code.
3. MechaCon Room Rates are available for online reservations by clicking here. You must mention " MechaCon Room Block" if you call-in your reservation.
4. You must place your reservation before July 1, 2010 to get the MechaCon Room Block rates. MechaCon Room Block may sell out before July 1st, so be sure to make your reservation early!
5. Your reservation helps to ensure MechaCon's longevity. With each reservation made, you help to guarantee that MechaCon continues. Make your reservation today!

To ensure that MechaCon receives credit for all reservations made at the New Orleans Marriott, we ask for your assistance. If you have, or once you have, reserved a room at the Hilton Lafayette for MechaCon, please e-mail us here with the name the room is reserved under. This list of names will be double-checked with the Hilton Lafayette to assure that MechaCon attendees are all accounted for.
