In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of TRANSFORMERS, we're proud to welcome…
David Kaye
David Kaye has been a staple of Transformers voice work for over a decade. Beginning his Transformers work by voicing the villainous Megatron in TRANSFORMERS: BEAST WARS and TRANSFORMERS: BEAST MACHINES, David continued with a second incarnation of Megatron in TRANSFORMERS: ARMADA, TRANSFORMERS: ENERGON and TRANSFORMERS: CYBERTRON. Now known as the only cast member of the Transformers brand to “switch sides”, he is currently the voice of Optimus Prime on Cartoon Network’s TRANSFORMERS: ANIMATED series.
As a 25 year veteran of the industry, David Kaye has also been heard on many radio and television commercial campaigns for signature clients such as Coca Cola, Wal-Mart, Burger King, Mountain Dew, Pennzoil, Hyundai and a host of others.
The animation world beckoned in the late ’80s and General Hawk from DIC Animation’s G.I. JOE would be the first of hundreds of different characters that would fill the schedule on a regular basis. From X-MEN: EVOLUTION’s Professor X to TRANSFORMERS: BEAST WARS’ evil Predacon leader Megatron, David has been a staple on Saturday morning cartoons for years.
The host voice for many specialty shows such as Turner Broadcasting’s CINEMA SECRETS, Discovery Channel’s EXTREME PRESSURE and the Canadian Football League’s TRADITIONS series, David still finds the time here and there to appear in front of the camera with roles in BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, STARGATE: CONTINUUM, HAPPY GILMORE and MARTIAN CHILD, co-starring with John and Joan Cusack.
Now based in Burbank, California, Kayeman Productions USA, Inc. continues to expand its radio and television branding business with an ever available on call staff of writers and producers. David Kaye’s voice is heard on some of the best radio and television stations worldwide! From Los Angeles and New York to Jakarta, Indonesia and Yellowknife in the Yukon, chances are that you are within earshot of David¹s voice, right now!
As the main contract voice for Fox Sports Net, David’s network television influence includes Fox News Channel, Nickelodeon, and TBS Superstation.
David is primed and eager to join us in south Louisiana this July. Please assist us in welcoming him with our legendary Cajun hospitality!
